Voice Lessons
Jasmina has been performing professionally for over 20 years and holds a degree in Psychology and Neuroscience from Oberlin College, which has allowed her to incorporate elements of each in her teaching. She decided to start teaching voice from a genuine desire to provide others with crucial tools and knowledge which are often overlooked in formal music education. These include finding and developing one's unique vocal strengths, style, various aspects of live performance, and many other topics.
As someone who experienced debilitating stage fright for many years and overcame it on her own, Jasmina is also passionate about helping students face their fear of self-expression (including public speaking). Her goal is to help people unleash their full potential as vocalists and performers, and above all else, experience the joy of creating music!
She works with students of all ages and backgrounds, at all levels in their musical journeys, virtually and in person, privately and in a group setting.

Jasmina helps her students achieve their unique goals, whether it's to become a professional musician, give an impressive karaoke performance, or speak in a more compelling manner in everyday life or a formal setting. Jasmina will teach you proper vocal technique, breathing techniques, help you develop your own unique musical style and voice, assist with live performance and public speaking, communication with a band, introduction to songwriting, music theory, audition preparation, help you choose the perfect repertoire for your individual voice and style, and many more areas.
Jasmina genuinely believes that everyone can sing and her mission is to empower as many people as possible with the beautiful gift of singing and getting to know their own unique voices -- something that's so powerful and instinctual to all of us, but unfortunately becomes tainted for many as a result of the world telling them they aren't good enough, or that singing is only for those who were "born with a good voice."
